Custom Design Projects

Design Fee: After the initial consultation with the artist to determine if the project is feasible, an upfront fee will be established based on the design and the final product. This fee will consider factors such as unique shapes and personalized details.
Engraving Design Fee: Begins at $15 for laser engravings that are designed for products already available.

Revision Charges: Additional design time will be charged at an hourly rate after multiple revisions.

Duplicate-able Designs: The design fee may be waived if the design can be easily duplicated for others. This is at the discretion of Silva & Ore.

Time and Materials: Custom projects are priced based on time and materials Please provide detailed project information for an accurate estimate.

Custom Creations: All sales are final. Once a custom order is placed and work has begun, it cannot be canceled or returned.

Approval Process: We strive to ensure you are delighted with your design before production begins. Detailed communication and approval of design proofs are essential.

Quality Assurance: We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our work. Rest assured, if there are any issues related to the craftsmanship or defects in materials, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item, and we will address the concern promptly.

Wood Sourcing, Selection & Staining

Natural beauty: I choose wood for their natural beauty and unique grains, I do not stain solids. I do not work with big box store solid woods.

Locally Sourced: Approximately 93.9% of the wood I use is locally sourced and hand-picked.

Limitations: I do not cut down, mill, kiln dry, or handle large pieces of wood or logs.

Scope of Work

I specialize in crafting creative, free-form pieces emphasizing unique, artistic designs. My work focuses on organic shapes and innovative designs, steering away from traditional such as straight-line cabinets or shelving. Each piece I create is a work of art designed to bring a distinct and personal touch to your space rather than conforming to conventional, linear furniture styles.

Refund Policy

No Returns on Custom Orders

At Silva & Ore, each piece is meticulously handcrafted and highly customized to meet your unique requirements. Due to the personalized and one-of-a-kind nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on any custom orders.

Shipping

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Delivery estimates will vary based on your location and the shipping method chosen.
You will receive a shipment confirmation email once your order has shipped, containing your tracking number. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Silva & Ore is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Additionally, there is a local pickup option available at Quiton's Crafthouse in downtown Collinsville, IL.
